História do voo

O voo EZY1693 preparava-se para a sua partida do Funchal (LPMA). A comandante Norkinha (FSP1276), aos comandos do seu A320, realizou os checklists pré-voo com a precisão de um relojoeiro. As luzes de navegação, reconhecimento e logo foram acionadas, seguindo-se a configuração dos flaps para a posição 2. Com o peso bruto de 68219 kg, incluindo 8189 kg de combustível e 17329 kg de carga paga, a aeronave estava pronta para o pushback. O silêncio matinal da ilha foi quebrado pelo suave ronronar dos motores CFM, que foram iniciados sucessivamente. Norkinha fez o taxiamento até à pista, seguindo as luzes indicadoras e os procedimentos de segurança.
